Chalk Paint Mason Jar Teacher Gift Idea

I showed you all how to make a mason jar really have character with some chalk paint here. Now I want to show you how to turn that jar into a great teacher gift!

The only extra thing you need on top of the chalk painted jar, is some twine or jute and a saying for the front. When I saw this saying a while ago I thought it would be perfect for one teacher in particular that really goes above and beyond.  I love that it says “Teachers who love to teach, teach children to love to learn.”

I cut that out of vinyl and stuck it on the front of the jar.

For all of the fillers, that is totally up to you!  If you use a short, wide mouth jar, you could add some pencils, pens or markers. This tall jar didn’t leave a lot of options, but I didn’t think about that ahead of time. Obviously, there is no set amount to spend, that is up to you .  Some ideas are some cute pens, lip gloss, candy, gift cards, really, whatever you can come up with! If you go the candy route, you can buy that pretty cheap making it great for a small budget! It really is about the thought!
