Christmas Tree Art~ Quick, Easy Craft DIY
Looking for a thrifty way to add more Christmas to your home this season? Why not take a couple minutes, some scrapbook paper and make some art? Display in a photo frame that you already have, and its an even better deal!
You will need:
Scrapbook paper (I used 6 different patterns)
1 sheet of solid card stock for the backing
glue
ruler
scissors
photo frame
To begin, cut your solid piece of card stock to the size of your frame. Mine was an 8×10.
Now, out of your Christmas patterned paper, cut the following sizes;
3/4 inch x 1 1/2 (2 of this size, one for the tree and 1 for the trunk)
3/4 inch x 1 inch
3/4 inch x 2 1/2
3/4 inch x 3 1/2
3/4 inch x 5 inch
If you want a star for the top, cut that out of yellow paper
Take a glue stick and rub it on the back of each scrap of paper and press them down firmly on your solid sheet of card stock.
Frame and enjoy!
