Be careful of this website. Their suggested retail prices are overly exaggerated to make the discounts seem larger than they really are. As you state, the price for a new blender on Amazon.com is only $159.99 not $309.00. I couldn’t find anywhere that it was listed for that price. Plus, you are buying a refurbished model and not a new one (which is listed in small print is the description under the product).

The worse case I came across was during Christmas time they had listed a bunch of digital cameras for sale. They were stating a $1200 camera was being marked down to $300 or $400. Again, I couldn’t find a place on-line that sold that model of camera anywhere near that price. They were closer to $600-$700 instead.
