About Us

I am a stay at home mom with four wonderful kids. I have been married for over 10 years to my best friend. I am head over heels in love with him. He always supports my crazy "thrifty adventures". We have a lot of fun together.

I was raised on a small dairy farm. Where I learned very young, the value of hard work and how to be thrifty in all areas of life. Growing up our meals were made from scratch. Only on special occasion would we get name brand cereal, chips, or any other fancy treats. Now that I am a Mom with my own budget, the basic foods always comes first. I too make most of our meals from scratch and take pride in feeding my family a well balanced healthy diet.

I enjoy seeing how far I can make our budget stretch, and when I take the time to match sales with coupons I am able to get all those "fun & fancy" items that would other wise be out of my budget. Being thrifty has always been a way of life for me, but it has also become a real joy.

Free Snuggle

snuggle

If you were lucky enough to get the Red Plum in yesterdays paper you may have noticed the high value $3.00 off Snuggle coupon. This coupon should make for several thrifty deals in the next month. Here are two ways to use it to get FREE snuggle this week.

Family Dollar has the 70 ct Snuggle sheets priced at $3
Use the $3.00 coupon from the 3/28 Red Plum
Final price FREE

Kmart has the 64 oz on sale for $2.50.
Use the $3.00 coupon from the 3/28 Red Plum
Final price FREE

Alison passed this along- I found a box of snuggle (120 ct) at Target for $2.88

Now please note that most stores will not be ready for the huge demand, being that these will be FREE.  So I suggest you either ask for a rain check if they have them.  Or take the ad to Walmart, Target or another store that does a price match.  Good luck hope you all get some FREE Snuggle, remember that this coupon just came out so I am sure other thrifty deals will come along .

Thanks FabulesslyFrugal and SavingAddiction

If you have the K-Mart ad, Walmart will price match. I have spent the 80 cents for a Sunday Press Tribune at Walmart, just for the ad (because I forgot mine) to price match. Plus I get more coupons!!

  • Sara

The coupon does specify 32 load or larger….the sale is for the 26 load size at Kmart.

Walmart at Glenwood & State in Boise has the 120 count for $3.48. It’s not free, but if you’re lazy like me and don’t want to drive to Kmart or Target, it’s pretty cheap and they were well stocked.

I just got back from the Family Dollar store in Kuna, ID and they have the Snuggle sheets 72 count for $3.50 not $3.00. Still a great deal. I purchased 4 boxes and paid $2. They have lots in stock in case any of you live nearby.

Was I the only one who didn’t get a K-mart ad?

Anyways… it is $3.97 at Walmart so instead of wasting gas on getting and ad and running around …I just bought it for 97 cents each which is still really good.

Not all Family Dollars have it priced at 3.00. The one in Kuna ID is 3.50. I would call before going just to make sure.

I went to the Family Dollar in Kuna Idaho and the 70 count was $3.50 a box.

  • I think all websites I can usually buy coupons are selling the Snuggle coupons on ebay. They are going for over a dollar each. Its still worth it to me. If any one knows any place cheaper let me know Thanks

Dang, I should have waited for this post. I paid $.75 for it at Giant. Oh well, still a thrifty deal.
