Before sale price, promos, catalina or coupons this would have cost $136.48
I was able to get it all for $11.42

After watching women walk out of the store with cart loads of fruit snacks, you may wonder why I did not buy more? After all I said this is most likely the lowest price of the year! Like I said before, I plan to get a rain check, being that I can get more with the catalina till 3/21. PLUS the store was crazy busy, I can only do one transaction at a time, then get back in line…..my pregnant tummy was telling me it was time to GO HOME. I hope to get some more once they restock in a week or so….and when the store is not so busy.

I don’t know Sarah and Matt personally but their desire to help others is evident. I, personally, am so grateful for all that they do. It is this web site where I learned (and still learning) to save money but more important to take pride in cooking for my family (thanks to Sarah’s easy but oh so yummy recipes). I, too, believe in feeding my children healthy meals but I also enjoy giving them treats. I’ve been following this site long enough to see that Sarah and Matt feed their children healthy foods (did you guys see those “to die for” corns from Sarah’s dad’s farm and the vegetables from their garden–wow?!!! that’s just to name a few). Furthermore, I believe just as it is important to give my boys a “more healthy conscience alternative,” it is just as important (if not more) to not criticize but give gratitude to those who are kind and generous enough with their time by saying “THANK YOU” ( for this is very healthy for the soul!!) So, Sarah and Matt, from our family to yours thank you so much!
Thanks again…love my readers!
I agree with Carol. It always makes me feel bad when people criticise in the comments. You are just trying to help. We are all in titled to our opinions but do we really need to share them when you are just trying to help. This doesn’t just go for this comment. I have read other times and it just makes me feel bad because I know you genuinly just want to help people. Don’t let it get to you just keep up the good work because I know Me and many others REALLY appreciate it.
“Do you try to offer them more health conscience alternatives?”
Seriously, really? Go be condescending somewhere else!
Thanks Carol….
My store has always split up my items with a rain check also. I guess it just depends on what store you shop at.
My store has let me split up my items on a rain check…. Or I guess you could just ask for a rain check for only 5…and get more than one rain check. Hope that helps
I have not seen a store that will split up transactions when you bring in a raincheck. Have you had luck with this?
I had fun at Albertson’s last night too. But it through me off when they said the catalina would be used with the current purchase…buy 5 and they take off $3.50. The cashier had one ready and then when mine printed, she kept it. I had to do some quick adjustments, but it all worked out in the end.
Hmmmmm …. those fruit snacks are not really healthy, but like candy (no real nutritional value) for the little ones. Do you try to offer them more health conscience alternatives? They are also a dentist’s nightmare … great for promoting cavities. I used to buy them too I must admit (great snacks to throw in the diaper bag/purse) and they do taste GOOD, but we decided to skip them (no matter what the price) and start giving the kids healthy snacks. Just my thought.
Fairview and Meridian Rd. was awesome!! They rang it all in one transaction–they had a price sheet with totals/amounts.
GOSH, I WISH OUR ALBERTSONS DID PROMOS LIKE THIS…..I WISH WE HAD DOUBLES TOO…..:0(
You crack me up…….. pregnant belly stories are always funny
I bought 10 yesterday. it was wild at Albies here…the staff was great..but they were pushing it at the registers. and using the 3.50 towards the current purchase…they just had one at their stands to use…selling to anyone…I think they will be out today but I hope to go get 10 more or a raincheck.
Sarah
What types did you buy? Twin Falls only had a few varietys on sale and not the ones you had pictured.
My store had all kinds, Gushers, Roll ups, snacks, stickers….. hope that helps
Woot! Yea Sara!
There is a fruit roll up coupon at the Target coupon web site for 50 cents off 2 (no Target logo, manufacturer coupon). It doesn’t have the “Do Not Double” restriction. Could make for an even sweeter deal.
I wish we had this store here in SC. but no luck. My list stores are never as good as your albertsons.
I tried to redeem a raincheck the other day and use my doublers. They said I had to redeem the entire thing in one transaction. The only way I could get more than one raincheck was to come back to the store repeatedly and keep asking for more. I thought that was ridiculous! Does your store have a different policy? Otherwise you would have to get a ton of different rain checks to get the fruit snack deal.
I love to see how much you save! I’m praying that we see those kinds of savings in our area. Publix has bought all our Albertsons.
