What child does not like marshmallows-even more– cupcakes!
Add a movie and you have a fun night with the whole family,
while eating these adorable popcorn cupcakes!
Supplies:
Cake mix
White Frosting
Cupcake holders
Marshmallows
Paper
Red Marker
Tape
Instructions:
Bake Cup cakes and let cool.
Frost cupcakes once they are cooled.
Apply the marshmallows on the top.
My 7 year old put them on the top-there is no specific way to make them look.
Next:
Make the striped muffin cups.
I drew out a pattern like this.
They have them online for free, but I decided to free hand mine.
I cut out the pattern and added stripes. The stripes are 3 lines thick.
Meaning when I ran the marker across to make a stripe, I did so 3 different times to make a wider stripe.
I connected the two sides together with tape, which then formed a cup.
I dropped the cupcake into the cup.
ALL DONE!
DO NOT PUT IN OVEN TO TOAST THE TOP OF THE MARSHMALLOWS!
Frosting will melt. I tried this to see what would happen and I had marshmallows and melted frosting everywhere. ha ha!
You can use a longer lighter and lightly toast the marshmallows, or a blow torch. I chose to leave them plane.
They made my heart giggle when I saw them the first time. My daughter and I had so much fun putting them together.
Perfect for a Circus Theme party too!
So cute!!!
