I went to Albies twice today! The catalina will only print if it is the oats (in the cylinder canisters) OR the instant oatmeal pkts in the box of 8 or 10 ct. NOT on Life cereal and NOT on Capt. Crunch cereal either. Not sure on the granola bars. Hope this info helps someone out there!?? I live in Idaho btw.

Catalina is for sure not printing on the cereal, didn’t do the oatmeal deal- let me know ladies if it works for the oats!

Are you going to stock up on this deal? I think it is a great deal…but am wondering if it is going to go cheaper later? Usually it is on sale for $1-1.50 when they have this sale. Just wanted your opinion. Thanks!

Bought 5 Life because we enjoy those and a $1.50 is an okay price. No Cat printed so I think it may just be oatmeal. Will try that next trip.

And by the way we need you to wave your magic thrifty wand and announce an awesome cereal deal :) I never thought after I started couponing that I would EVER be out of cereal, but that day has almost come!

Thanks Sarah. Some of us in California are going to do the Stater Bros. deal this week because we are a little leery of the Catalina not printing here. If you are in CA you can get the instant oatmeal for $1.88 each and when you buy 5 you get a free gallon of milk. I think we figured it would be about equal for us because a good price on milk here is $2.50 and our Albertsons deal is $1.99 each. So with the few cents difference here and there it’s almost the same except we won’t have catalina’s to roll. Hope this helps your California readers :)

I sure hope it works on the pancake mix too. I find this pancake mix works great with my fresh ground cranberry/orange relish to make super pancakes. If not, I will buy oatmeal then roll the catalina toward my Aunt Jemima.

I purchased 20 coupons off of ebay when you did. I have been waiting and crossing my fingers for this deal…What if they put doublers out on Sunday? Can you use the doublers and get the catalina also? Thanks so much! You are the best :)

Yes you can use doubles and get the instant discount and catalina…but not word on double coupons yet… I sure hope we get them

Based on Frugal Chic Living’s picture of the catalina, I would say this is just for the oatmeal and not the pancake mix or granola bars. Also, this catalina does not start until FRIDAY! HTH
