About Us

I am a stay at home mom with four wonderful kids. I have been married for over 10 years to my best friend. I am head over heels in love with him. He always supports my crazy "thrifty adventures". We have a lot of fun together.

I was raised on a small dairy farm. Where I learned very young, the value of hard work and how to be thrifty in all areas of life. Growing up our meals were made from scratch. Only on special occasion would we get name brand cereal, chips, or any other fancy treats. Now that I am a Mom with my own budget, the basic foods always comes first. I too make most of our meals from scratch and take pride in feeding my family a well balanced healthy diet.

I enjoy seeing how far I can make our budget stretch, and when I take the time to match sales with coupons I am able to get all those "fun & fancy" items that would other wise be out of my budget. Being thrifty has always been a way of life for me, but it has also become a real joy.

Walgreens Nabisco Update

Thanks to Shopping with Cents for passing this along,
I just spoke to the store manager at the Nampa Walgreen’s on Midland and the Blvd and got some great information on an upcoming sale. This Sunday’s ad has Nabisco (Ritz, Triscuits and Wheat Thins) 5/$10. Use 5 of the $1/1 from the 11/08 SS, pay $5 OOP and receive a $3 RR! Not only will you get 5 boxes of crackers for $2, you can submit for the $10 Nabisco Holiday RebateĀ HERE when you buy 10 boxes.

Even better,he has ordered a ton of extra inventory for us to buy these up and so this particular store is allowing 3 transactions per customer per day on this deal. So you can do your 2 transactions for a total of 10 boxes and mail off for your rebate! This is a $6 Money maker!

There is a $1/2 Nabisco (Triscuits, Oreos and Wheat thins only) products in the back of the Diabetes coupon booklet that it available in the pharmacy. When the cahier scanned it, it took off$2.50 so it gave me the additional $.50 for the fifth box. So I paid $2.50 OOP and got a $3 RR. I did two transactions and will submitt for my rebate, making this an $11 moneymaker.
