Every time my girls go to Walgreens with me they have to show me the big packs of flavored chap stick.  Both of the girls got chap stick for Christmas and they LOVE IT!   This morning Maleeya was playing with her little house when I noticed she was not playing with the little people, instead her house was full of “chap stick babies”  She was even taking her blue chap stick “pee pee”.

Thank you so much “A Thrify Mom” for all you share to those of us trying to save $. The process of saving $ seems to take so much time for me though, I often wonder if it is beneficial; weighing time vs. money. Will you share with me an approximate time amount you spend saving money each week; clipping coupons, searching the web; shopping; etc. It seems as though you are at many different stores within a week’s time. How much time do you spend shopping & how many days do you take some type of shopping trip? Thanks.

Debi….well for me it takes longer because a run a blog…but before that it only takes me about an hour a week to clip…and get ready for the shopping trip. As for shopping it depends how many stores I plan to shop at….really not much longer than if I was shopping without coupons….plan ahead saves money

My daughter does the same thing! She has Polly Pockets, Little People, Barbies, etc. and I always catch her using something like the chap stick instead. Today it was folded socks.
