0RPHANAGE SUPPLIES PROJECT, NWAMAKA’S ORPHANAGE HOME.DONATION #18

Learn how you can be apart of helping people who are in need with our Chicken Orphanage Project or our A Thrifty Mom Bag of Rice Project . In 2016 we started helping a young man named Ikechukwu from Nigeria. Summer of 2019 we were able to visit his family in Aba, Nigeria. While there we saw widespread poverty and lack of basic needs. We also met a young man named Isaac, smart and hard working but could not find employment. After talking a bit we found he had built a chicken coop and wanted to farm chickens. We asked him if he would raise chickens for us that would then be donated to feed children in local orphanages. The only food or supplies they get are what are donated, so they often go without any source of protein. We would like to invite you to help meet one of those basic needs, by providing Nigerian families with rice or chickens. This gift will feed a large family for a few months, or a single person a year. It also reminds them they are loved, and brings most of them to tears… as a full bag of rice is one of the most generous gifts they will ever receive. You can also read about other families we have been able to bless here. Chickens are only available to purchase as once they are big enough to butcher, so if you see they are out of stock he is in the process or growing another flock. That is why we started the Orphanage donations so we can still help feed the orphans even if chickens are not yet ready. These donations go to purchase food, diapers, wipes, clothes and medications.

GETTING THE BABIES SUPPLY FROM THE MARKET

The following story talks about our visitation to NWAMAKA’S OPHANAGEGE HOME, Babies supplies were donated, Thanks to Staci Richins and an anonymous donor   for your Generous Donations.

This shows when we went to the general market to get the babies supplies and the rest to take to the orphanage home, though it was a bit stressful before getting to the market and also while going back due to a lot of traffics along the way.

On getting to the place, the orphanage home, we have to bring all the supplies out, the once inside carton and place then on the floor foe photos and the rest, the kids where all happy on seeing us coming, I over heard one of them saying those Uncle that use to bring us plenty of Chickens and other things are here, I Love them, i wish they always come here, i was just smiling within myself.

The kids said thanks to you all and God bless and provide all your needs just for them, and Amen to that.

Here are the kids standing in front of the items e got for them, and you can see smiles on there faces, that’s to say they all are happy, it’s very lovely to always be around and stay with them like one of them said, play, have some little discussions with them and the rest at least making them feel your presence very well before going and maybe learning something from spending little time with you.

After the group photos, the kids then helped in taking the items inside before we then take our leave to come back next time we’re been sent to visit with another things to make them feel not been left out that at least they still have people who Loves and care about them.
