We got a package this weekend and my 10 year old started jumping up and down and clapping his hands… It’s Mr. Poppers Penguins, We got Penguins (that is one of his favorite movies). He was laughing so hard he could hardly talk. I was so confused as to why he thought we got a shipment of live birds. Then I saw the sticker on the side of the box, that said do not freeze with a picture of a penguin. We opened it up and it was NOT alive, but it was a YUMMY treat from YoCrunch! They sent us a whole bunch or goodies for a Halloween party.
Today my son was able to share a healthy sweet treat with his class at school. He spends much of his day in a special needs class. Which means I was greeted by a bunch of smiles and hugs as I brought them their tasty treat. All the kids loved them and my son had so much fun passing out his “spooky YoCrunch” snacks to his class.
Next stop was my daughters preschool Halloween party. Once again all the kids loved them and were so excited to stir in the yummy toppings into their yogurt. As you can see in the photo my youngest son was NOT to impresses I was taking a photo instead of opening his yogurt. He happily ate every last bite (once I got it open)!
I thought these were a GREAT Halloween treat or a snack anytime for that matter. The kids loved that they were interactive and that you get to stir in the fun toppings. Plus they taste great… a great alternative to the pile of candies or cookies they get at most parties.
