Bunny Bookmark ~ Made From An Envelope
Here is a cute craft that will take you minutes to make and you probably already have all the supplies!
You will need
An envelope. I used one that came in some mail that I wasn’t going to use to send anything back. Great way to recycle!
Black marker
Scissors
Glue
Googly eyes (or you can draw the eyes on)
Pink paper scraps (or pink marker)
Begin by cutting the corner off of your envelope. You want to use one of the bottom corners, so it is sealed on both sides. Cut to the middle, and leave a small rectangle, then cut off the other side. This will be the bunny’s teeth so don’t cut them off!
Once your envelope is cut, you can cut off the back flap of the teeth section.
Now, also using your envelope cut out some ears. I used the edge of the envelope so that I had two layers for added stability. Glue these on to the back of the book mark. Go ahead and glue on the eyes as well.
Taking a small scrap of pink paper, or using the envelope and coloring it pink, cut a small diamond for the nose and 2 small ear sections. Make them smaller then the white ears. Glue them on. Finish off by using your black marker to make a line down the middle of the teeth, and adding whiskers. There you go! This would be a fun surprise with a new book in your child’s Easter basket! Or, let your kids create their own. Maybe it will make them excited to open up a book!
