Mother’s Day Gift Idea ~ Personalized Flower Pail
A few years ago, my Mother in law gave me this flower pail. I loved that it was personalized by my kids. It may have been a simple gesture, but it is still one of my favorite gifts of all time! While I can’t claim to have actually made it, I thought it was such a good idea I wanted to pass it along for anyone looking for an inexpensive, personal, creative Mother’s day gift this year.
You will need
sharpies or other permanent marker, or paint marker
kids to color on the pail
Something to fill the pail (My Mother in law picked Gerber daisies, my favorite!)
Really it doesn’t take a lot of explanation for this. You have your child draw on the bucket with the permanent markers. Easy enough, right?
It is so simple and easy to make this. My kids are older now, and draw much differently, but I love that I have this little snippet of a time when they were so little! My favorite part is that all of my kids added something to it and I have a small piece of each of them that I will treasure always.
