Kids can dress up and enter the costume contest, make a craft, and go trick-or-treating after the concert. Dorsey Music will be on hand with a fun “Instrument Petting Zoo” where children can try out different instruments. This is a family-friendly event featuring American favorites from Gershwin, Bernstein, and Copeland, along with selections from Harry Potter and other spooky surprises. This concert is a great way to introduce children to classical music, with a shorter format and fun music they are sure to love.
This event is a gift from Meridian Symphony Orchestra to raise money for Arts Education Programs in local schools.
