I thought this might be of interest to your readers in Southern California: In April, Albertsons announced The Big Relief Price Cut, a program that lowered prices on thousands of key items by up to 20 percent in Southern California. This week, Albertsons is announcing through blogs such as A Thrifty Mom that it is adding more items to The Big Relief Price Cut Program. The lower prices apply to hundreds of additional products that shoppers purchase most, including staples such as bread, rice, dish detergent and pet food.
In addition, customers in Southern California who spend $50 or more in a single transaction with their Preferred Savings Card from July 1-4 will earn a 10 percent savings coupon for a future purchase. The savings awards can be redeemed from July 5-19.
