Camping hack, wash your hands when camping
Read below to find out our Camping hack, wash your hands when camping without dropping the soap in the dirt.
If you are an avid camper and don’t wash your hands, either because there is no sanitary way to keep the soap or there are no bathrooms near this is a must use trick for you!
What is our secret weapon when we are camping? Pantyhose! So easy!
Cut off the panty portion of the nylons and you are left with two legs for two separate washing areas or two camping trips. Tights may work, but we haven’t tested them. The nylons are perfect for holding the soap up off the ground (keeping it from getting filthy) and have enough holes in them to allow the water and soap to wash your hands thoroughly.
Typically when we go we try to find a tree we can tie them to where they are next to the water, but we couldn’t find a spot that would work that way when we were camping this last time so we tied it to the actual jug. We use a separate jug of water for cleaning so that we aren’t touching our drinking water spout with our dirty hands. Get your hands wet and rub them together on the bar of soap. When you are done you can leave it hanging for the next person to use.
