CHICKEN PROJECT #1011-1034 SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST ORPHANAGE HOME.

Learn how you can be apart of helping people who are in need with our Chicken Orphanage Project or our A Thrifty Mom Bag of Rice Project . In 2016 we started helping a young man named Ikechukwu from Nigeria. Summer of 2019 we were able to visit his family in Aba, Nigeria. While there we saw widespread poverty and lack of basic needs. We also met a young man named Isaac, smart and hard working but could not find employment. After talking a bit we found he had built a chicken coop and wanted to farm chickens. We asked him if he would raise chickens for us that would then be donated to feed children in local orphanages. The only food or supplies they get are what are donated, so they often go without any source of protein. We would like to invite you to help meet one of those basic needs, by providing Nigerian families with rice or chickens. This gift will feed a large family for a few months, or a single person a year. It also reminds them they are loved, and brings most of them to tears… as a full bag of rice is one of the most generous gifts they will ever receive. You can also read about other families we have been able to bless here. Chickens are only available to purchase as once they are big enough to butcher, so if you see they are out of stock he is in the process or growing another flock.

The following story talks about our visitation to SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST ORPHANAGE HOME. chickens were donated, thanks to Patricia Turner and Luke Freeman. We donated Twenty-four (24) chickens. Thanks to generous donations.

Wow look at who welcomed us this time here, and he has like singing prayer is the key, prayer is the key, prayer is the master key, Jesus started with prayer and ended with prayer, prayer is the master key.

I was like, wow, it was a thing of joy to be here today been 11th July 2023, from our previous visit we’ve been coming, this young blind boy have always liked been alone on the floor either singing or crying or sleeping, even when we got for him some of the playing items made for him, he never stood up, so today was a kind of miracle seeing him up, playing and even welcomed us. He’s just good and cool in his own way once you understand him well.

It is well knowing these birds will give this young man and the others much needed nutrition. A special treat they look forward to, thanks to the kindness of strangers they will never know.

Seventh day Adventist orphanage home have more of the little kids and here are some of the kids we took photos of them, very beautiful little kids.

Most of the big kids were not around as we came, they went to the church evening class, just this small once available. The little kids were so much afraid going closer to the chickens because they thought the chickens will bite them if go close, so I have to carry them to take photo with them.

Their nursing mothers sent there greetings to you all and said God bless you all for your love and care to see that the kids are all doing well even to have good meat prepared with their meals.
