CHICKEN PROJECT 126-146, NWAMAKA MOTHERLESS BABIES HOME BY 206 FALKS ROAD, ABA, ABIA STATE, NIGERIA.

Learn how you can be apart of helping people who are in need with our Chicken Orphanage Project or our A Thrifty Mom Bag of Rice Project . In 2016 we started helping a young man named Ikechukwu from Nigeria. Summer of 2019 we were able to visit his family in Aba, Nigeria. While there we saw widespread poverty and lack of basic needs. We also met a young man named Isaac, smart and hard working but could not find employment. After talking a bit we found he had built a chicken coop and wanted to farm chickens. We asked him if he would raise chickens for us that would then be donated to feed children in local orphanages. The only food or supplies they get are what are donated, so they often go without any source of protein. We would like to invite you to help meet one of those basic needs, by providing Nigerian families with rice or chickens. This gift will feed a large family for a few months, or a single person a year. It also reminds them they are loved, and brings most of them to tears… as a full bag of rice is one of the most generous gifts they will ever receive. You can also read about other families we have been able to bless here. Chickens are only available to purchase as once they are big enough to butcher, so if you see they are out of stock he is in the process or growing another flock.

PLAYING WHAT WITH MUMMY

The following story talks about our visitation to the Nwamaka orphanage home, we met them on this settings playing with the kids, so loving and caring mummies taking good care of them of which Life Chickens was donated and our appreciation goes to Melissa Silver, Shannan Brice, Nicole Wright, Heather Lilly, Trina Hunter, Jennifer Macdonald, Pamela Franks, Britani Shea, Maryellen Raymond. We donated Twenty-one (21) chickens, this makes a total of 146 chickens our project has been able to donate. Thanks to generous donation.

TAKING THE CHICKENS INSIDE

After we must have finish greeting them and told them of our mission, we now come to take the chickens to them which put a smile on there face, the were very happy to receive us as we came visiting.

GOT A NEW FRIEND

Her name is CHISOM in Igbo language meaning ‘God follow me’, she’s a nice girl but a little bit shy, she is 8 years old and she said she would love to be a Doctor when she grows up.

PHOTOS OF KIDS

We asked them of there most needs which the said there most needs now is getting Rice, Indomie Noodles, clothes and Pampas for the little once.

THE CHICKENS

Here are the photo of the chickens placed on the flow, they all were happy seeing the chicken ? which will provide them meat in there meal when ever they want to cook, but most of the kids were so much afraid of the life chicken but not afraid when it’s time to eat it so there guidance showed us were to put them in there kitchen which we did and they requested to pray for us before going so we waited until the finish praying and we left.

What a good children to even pray for there visitors who come to see them and offer them things that the Lord should bless them and were it’s coming from that the Lord should not allow them to lack, that the Lord should also grant them there righteous needs.
