CHICKEN PROJECT 392-409//ORPHANAGE SUPPLIES PROJECT #11 NAMAKWA’S ORPHANAGE HOME.

Learn how you can be apart of helping people who are in need with our Chicken Orphanage Project or our A Thrifty Mom Bag of Rice Project . In 2016 we started helping a young man named Ikechukwu from Nigeria. Summer of 2019 we were able to visit his family in Aba, Nigeria. While there we saw widespread poverty and lack of basic needs. We also met a young man named Isaac, smart and hard working but could not find employment. After talking a bit we found he had built a chicken coop and wanted to farm chickens. We asked him if he would raise chickens for us that would then be donated to feed children in local orphanages. The only food or supplies they get are what are donated, so they often go without any source of protein. We would like to invite you to help meet one of those basic needs, by providing Nigerian families with rice or chickens. This gift will feed a large family for a few months, or a single person a year. It also reminds them they are loved, and brings most of them to tears… as a full bag of rice is one of the most generous gifts they will ever receive. You can also read about other families we have been able to bless here. Chickens are only available to purchase as once they are big enough to butcher, so if you see they are out of stock he is in the process or growing another flock. That is why we started the Orphanage donations so we can still help feed the orphans even if chickens are not yet ready. These donations go to purchase food, diapers, wipes, clothes and medications.

The following story talks about our visitation to NWAMAKA’S OPHANAGEGE HOME, Babies supplies were donated altogether with Chickens. Thanks to Lindsey Watkins for all the supplies and , Angela Wilkins, Shannon Brice, Charyl Yoast, Angelique Duplantis, Debbie and Larry Ashby Lindsey Watkins for the chickens. Thank you for your Generous Donations.

TODAY WAS A MASSIVE DONATION

On our getting to the place, Two men helped us in caring some of the items upstairs were the orphanage own flat is, very good and strong people, they are happy they still have people like us who loves and care for the orphanage kids.

The above photo shows as we brought them inside still packed and then me bringing out some of the items out from the Nylon of which it includes 17 Chickens// Disinfectant, Yale Biscuit, Corn Flakes, Nestle Cerelac, Baby Milks, T-rolls, Dettol Antiseptic, Detergent, Vaseline, Baby Wipes, Soaps, Powder, Tooth Gel, Babies hair cream, Babies lotion cream, Custard Powder, Hollandia Yoghurt, Babie formula and Diapers And Noodles. All things they need but often go without due to increases cost.

After all sets and done here we go, photo of the items and then with the kids at the back of the items with there beautiful and smiling faces, but being carried away seeing what we brought for them in masses, they couldn’t believe there eyes, both there mummies all were very happy two things at a time, the prayed for us as well include all general donations that God will bless us all and provide for us all our needs as we make out time to care for them so shall God also do for us, that we all will not lack anything relating to our Righteous heart desires.

So after taking photos they then take the Chickens to one of there Bathroom were they can put in the chickens in other to free up use of the Cage we used in bringing them. Because we have to return it to the cage owner we rented it from and the Chickens all is 17 in Numbers. That is a lot to transport so a larger cage was needed.

Other sets taking in the other items too to there store were they can keep them till they can be taking out of them one after the other for consumptions or use. The children sang and danced as they picked up each item, could not believe their luck that all these items were for them. These children have had lots of loss and trials in their short years. But when we their “Chicken Uncles” arrive they have extreme joy for the day knowing they get special treats and much needed supplies.

This is one of there mummy, she was been capture as she was making some blessings pronunciation, she was very happy and shot of words. ALL THANKS TO OUR HEAVENLY FATHER FOR ALL.
