Learn how you can be apart of helping people who are in need with our Chicken Orphanage Project or our A Thrifty Mom Bag of Rice Project . In 2016 we started helping a young man named Ikechukwu from Nigeria. Summer of 2019 we were able to visit his family in Aba, Nigeria. While there we saw widespread poverty and lack of basic needs. We also met a young man named Isaac, smart and hard working but could not find employment. After talking a bit we found he had built a chicken coop and wanted to farm chickens. We asked him if he would raise chickens for us that would then be donated to feed children in local orphanages. The only food or supplies they get are what are donated, so they often go without any source of protein. We would like to invite you to help meet one of those basic needs, by providing Nigerian families with rice or chickens. This gift will feed a large family for a few months, or a single person a year. It also reminds them they are loved, and brings most of them to tears… as a full bag of rice is one of the most generous gifts they will ever receive. Chickens are only available to purchase as once they are big enough to butcher, so if you see they are out of stock he is in the process or growing another flock.

The following story talks about our visitation to NWAMAKA’S ORPHANAGE HOME, chickens were donated, thanks to Melissa Waite, Trina Hunter, Brittiany Smerdon And Corrine Butler. We donated Twenty Four (24) chickens. Thanks to generous donations.
This was our second day donation, before we could get to this place, it was a bit difficult due to the road, there was much Traffic on our way to this home but at the end of it all we succeeded because we need to finish the journey in which we have started and all i have come to know or understand is that what so ever in any way the GOD is always involved in it as we commit all into his hands surly he is always there to Guide and Protect us till the end including his blessings for us to make out time even to always look out for the needy.
This is one of the precious daughter of our heavenly father, on our getting inside they saw us and was very very happy as can see in the photo, the baby was so so excited and even wanted me to carry her but i was unable to do that because i have to get them ready for a group photo with the chicken in there front so as to do and finish on time, so we can go due to the traffic and be able to catch up with other orphanage home we need to go to finish twith the donations.

Here we go, photo of the kids and the chickens, they all were so so happy to see the chickens because the know this time, they will enjoy themselves as usual each time we bring chickens for them to add to there meals to make it more reach for there body system and so on and this makes me happy and always want to continue doing this because each time we pay them visit, just there smiles alone, there excitement, prayers and so on will make you even want to do more or more better then the way you have been do it before and even to reach out to others which is also in need because it’s a source of blessings or drawing blessings from our heavenly father to yourself, Families, Friends and to those around you and am so so happy for that.
After all set and done with all both taking photos, we took them to one of there rest room, on our bringing them all out of the cage we found out Two dead due to all of the 24 chicken were all put into one cage so the weight of others on them kill two out of the rest, so they are starting with this two to prepare and eat and then we left. The children excited for the meal soon to come.
