CHICKEN PROJECT #774-796 NWAMAKA’S ORPHANAGE HOME.

Learn how you can be apart of helping people who are in need with our Chicken Orphanage Project or our A Thrifty Mom Bag of Rice Project . In 2016 we started helping a young man named Ikechukwu from Nigeria. Summer of 2019 we were able to visit his family in Aba, Nigeria. While there we saw widespread poverty and lack of basic needs. We also met a young man named Isaac, smart and hard working but could not find employment. After talking a bit we found he had built a chicken coop and wanted to farm chickens. We asked him if he would raise chickens for us that would then be donated to feed children in local orphanages. The only food or supplies they get are what are donated, so they often go without any source of protein. We would like to invite you to help meet one of those basic needs, by providing Nigerian families with rice or chickens. This gift will feed a large family for a few months, or a single person a year. It also reminds them they are loved, and brings most of them to tears… as a full bag of rice is one of the most generous gifts they will ever receive. You can also read about other families we have been able to bless here. Chickens are only available to purchase as once they are big enough to butcher, so if you see they are out of stock he is in the process or growing another flock.

The following story talks about our visitation to NWAMAKA’S ORPHANAGE HOME. chickens were donated, thanks to Stacie Toombs, Given Family, Deborah Warren, Britani Shea, (Anonymous), Becky Wright, Ann Jensen, Kerry Bradshaw, Rebekka Spence, Helen Root. We donated Twenty Three (23) chickens. Thanks to generous donations.

It was indeed a nice day today been the to be here again to pay this children a visit Donating 23 life chickens to them, doing things to put a smile in the faces of this kids is one of the thing that gives me joy and am always happy each time we are been sent to go donate one or two things to them.

And as the Lord has said that as we do any of the least things or being in the service of our fellow beings, we are only in the service of our God, and it’s surely a blessings to us also.

Here are the kids and i in the photo, it was indeed a good day, they all smile because now the have meat to eat from any of the meal that will be prepared for them by their mommy or nursing mother taking care of them, so as they see us, there was much happiness on there faces.

They all said we should extend there joy and thanks to you all and general donations for all you’ve been doing for then that the really appreciate with a big thanks and much blessings to us all from above.

Here is Bright, his name is Bright and he is in JSS 1 junior high school, he said he love reading any time he’s alone or have nothing to do, he do love to play game also.

it was nice having a word with him and he’s outspoken, an intelligent young boy, so after that he expressed he’s love and thanks to you all. After all we then take the life chicks to where they do keep them before they can kill them.

After all, two of there nursing mother then helped to take the chicks inside, we had prayer with them then we took our leave to come back again when we’re been sent again from General Donations or Charity Organization.
