CHICKEN PROJECT #797-819 QUEEN ESTHER’S ORPHANAGE HOME.

Learn how you can be apart of helping people who are in need with our Chicken Orphanage Project or our A Thrifty Mom Bag of Rice Project . In 2016 we started helping a young man named Ikechukwu from Nigeria. Summer of 2019 we were able to visit his family in Aba, Nigeria. While there we saw widespread poverty and lack of basic needs. We also met a young man named Isaac, smart and hard working but could not find employment. After talking a bit we found he had built a chicken coop and wanted to farm chickens. We asked him if he would raise chickens for us that would then be donated to feed children in local orphanages. The only food or supplies they get are what are donated, so they often go without any source of protein. We would like to invite you to help meet one of those basic needs, by providing Nigerian families with rice or chickens. This gift will feed a large family for a few months, or a single person a year. It also reminds them they are loved, and brings most of them to tears… as a full bag of rice is one of the most generous gifts they will ever receive. You can also read about other families we have been able to bless here. Chickens are only available to purchase as once they are big enough to butcher, so if you see they are out of stock he is in the process or growing another flock.

The following story talks about our visitation to QUEEN ESTHER’S ORPHANAGE HOME. Chickens were donated, thanks to Dakota Wells, Alena Snodgrass, Sonya Brekke, Donna Harrs and Adriana Resende  We donated Twenty Three (23) chickens. Thanks to generous donations.

It was a great day also today to visit this wonderful home with Chickens to be Donated to them and it was a great wonderful experience today also even as we put smile on the face of this kids.

Before others come out since the small babies are out, I decide to at least take some photo with them and it all went good although they where afraid of the life chickens but where more safe as I carried them, smiles, so no much crying from them until we’re done taking photo.

Full photo of I and the kids, they all were very very happy to see us, they were like if we are no longer going to come again, the said they have missed us, but I said to them they shouldn’t worry much for we are with them and they said no problems, so they are going to have much meat added to their meal this time.

They said since we didn’t come for like months now, the previous once we gave them finished and there was no meat anymore, there food wasn’t enjoyable like before and it makes them unhappy when they are been served food and no meat in it, they prayed and asked that we should not stope that may the Lord God continue to bless us so, all general donations, more open of doors from above so we can be remembering them also, Amen.

After all we took the life chickens to the small house the built for keeping life chickens and the rest, we came back and they said we should have a prayer with them of which we did and the prayed for us all, all General Donations and Charity home, we Love you all and want you not to stop the good works, the kids love it and are enjoying it as we do put smiles on there faces each time we pay the a visit with any of the things we do bring for them.

Her name is Blessing as she said and she is in Basic 3 in school, she is 7 years Old in age and love to read her text and note books, she said she can play very we also but a shy type, Smiles.
