I walked in to see my daughter drawing a picture of me …. she has been know in the past to draw photos of me with a BIG frown and angry eyes when she is upset at me. So I didn’t say anything I just glanced at the photo. Much to my delight this time it had a big smiley face and happy eyes. I have to admit it felt pretty good to see that. I asked her what she was happy about, she said she was SUPER happy that I let her take food to school for the canned food drive at school. I guess the coupon deals really paid off this time.
Being the Mom is not always easy, but it sure is worth it!
