One of our readers, Kelly, just sent us this info. Just an update on the new Shrek cups that McDonalds has been selling recently. These have a dangerous metal called Cadmium in the paint used to paint the figures on the side. This paint frequently rubs off and can be hazardous to humans. Cadmium is a known carcinogen that research shows also can cause bone softening and severe kidney problems. McDonalds is going to post info on refund information on their website next week.
