I was contacted by the fine folks at John Deere and asked if I would like to review a Mega Bloks John Deere Garden Cart. Being that I am a farm girl the yellow and green Deere has a special spot in my heart. Plus I happen to have a little boy who is ALL about tools, blocks and anything with wheels. SO I was excited to let him be my official product tester.

This sturdy little cart was listed as one of the Top Preschool Toys of 2013 and is sold exclusively at Walmart for $29.97 right now. So what did my little product tester think of the Mega Bloks John Deere Garden Cart? Well his smile pretty much says it all, but he LOVED this cart. I am pretty sure he would have hauled it to bed with him if I would have let him.
First he was just excited to see the bag of blocks inside the cart, He dumped those out and played with them on the grass for awhile, and used the tool to transfer them to different piles. Then he started loading all the blocks into the back of the cart then tossing them all out again…. until he realized the cart tips and you can dump the blocks out. He kept saying “Watch out, I’m going to DUMP”, then he would laugh and do it all over again. 
Then it was time to start building with the blocks there are a few different spots on the cart to use as a building surface. He would build a tower then knock it down… then do it again. Last but not least he proudly walked his new cart around the yard and then climbed right inside and instructed his older brother to “give me a ride in my tractor.” Both boys laughing and giggling and having a great time. He played outside with it for over 2 hours, and then bought it inside and played until I told him it was bed time.
So it is pretty clear this was a HUGE hit with my 3 year old, get a big A+ in my book as well.
