Learn how you can be apart of helping people who are in need with our Chicken Orphanage Project or our A Thrifty Mom Bag of Rice Project . In 2016 we started helping a young man named Ikechukwu from Nigeria. Summer of 2019 we were able to visit his family in Aba, Nigeria. While there we saw widespread poverty and lack of basic needs. We also met a young man named Isaac, smart and hard working but could not find employment. After talking a bit we found he had built a chicken coop and wanted to farm chickens. We asked him if he would raise chickens for us that would then be donated to feed children in local orphanages. The only food or supplies they get are what are donated, so they often go without any source of protein. We would like to invite you to help meet one of those basic needs, by providing Nigerian families with rice or chickens. This gift will feed a large family for a few months, or a single person a year. It also reminds them they are loved, and brings most of them to tears… as a full bag of rice is one of the most generous gifts they will ever receive. You can also read about other families we have been able to bless here. Chickens are only available to purchase as once they are big enough to butcher, so if you see they are out of stock he is in the process or growing another flock. That is why we started the Orphanage donations so we can still help feed the orphans even if chickens are not yet ready. These donations go to purchase food, diapers, wipes, clothes and medications.

Getting the kids ready for photo

This time we’re trying to arrange the kids for a group photo although this are not all of them, some of the were sleeping the time we came n to visit, The kids are very very happy for the Items that was brought for them and they said a very big thanks to all that has hand or that may in one way or the other Involved in the purchasing of those Items, They also said that God will surly bless us, Me And You Including Others Etc for remembering them all the time and thank you so much for what you’ve been doing, We Love you all.

Here we go, I and the kids took a photo although they were still playing and been very happy for the Items, the little kid in front of me is my new friend, her name is Chioma, meaning God is Good so I was like asking her how does she fill or if she is happy, she is small but can talk and play for Africa, she said to me Uncle thank you am happy because I will eat CORN FLAKES, EAT NOODLES, EAT BISCUIT in her language but I understand her well as I draw more close to her.

It was nice coming around them all times, as we strive in our little and possible ways to put a smile on there faces, so the Lord also will likewise put a smile on our faces also, Individually and Collectively.

Seeing the items we brought, the kids was very funny and so excited about the treats, they were saying within themselves that they will eat Corn Flakes this time, they will eat Biscuit, eat Noodles and Drink Hollandia Yoghurt which means it’s been a while the eat those things and other things, they were all happy, joy all over them both the people taking care or looking after them was also very happy and they said a very big thanks.
