In 2016 we started helping a young man named Ikechukwu from Nigeria. Summer of 2019 we were able to visit his family in Aba, Nigeria. While there we saw widespread poverty and lack of basic needs. We also met a young man named Isaac, smart and hard working but could not find employment. After talking a bit we found he had built a chicken coop and wanted to farm chickens. We asked him if he would raise chickens for us that would then be donated to feed children in local orphanages. The only food or supplies they get are what are donated, so they often go without any source of protein. We would like to invite you to help meet one of those basic needs, by providing Nigerian families with rice or chickens. This gift will feed a large family for a few months, or a single person a year. It also reminds them they are loved, and brings most of them to tears… as a full bag of rice is one of the most generous gifts they will ever receive. Chickens are only available to purchase as once they are big enough to butcher, so if you see they are out of stock he is in the process or growing another flock. That is why we started the Orphanage donations so we can still help feed the orphans even if chickens are not yet ready. These donations go to purchase food, diapers, wipes, clothes and medications.

The following story talks about our visitation to SEVENTH-DAYS ADVENTIST OPHANAGEGE HOME, Babies supplies were donated, Thanks to Lisa Marlow, Cristine Codr and the Barrand Family for your Generous Donations.
As we got to the orphanage home the baby was crying bitterly waiting for some one to carry him and it’s just the kids with one of the nursing mother that was around, she was waiting for the other women’s who is on Afternoon shift to come so they can take over, they do run it by shift, she is giving one of them food, immediately I carried him, he then closed his mouth and we both took a selfie, Smiles.
Here is the Nursing mother around, she is taking care of one of the little baby crying for food while the other one was on the floor on his own crying so as I entered I have to carry the baby so to stop the baby from crying.
Here we have the photo of the supplies with some of the little kids, they were all happy both the grown up kids as they saw us though they were all engaged playing so they couldn’t come inside and we decide not to worry them much let them enjoy their play, though I made a short video of them while playing.
As we finished and ready to go, we helped the woman to take the items into their store room and one of the grown up kid have to come carry the baby so we can then go, she prayed for us and for all charity homes.
