ORPHANAGE SUPPLIES PROJECT, VICTIMS OF NEED SOCIAL AND MOTHERLESS BABIES HOME. DONATION #34

Learn how you can be apart of helping people who are in need with our Chicken Orphanage Project or our A Thrifty Mom Bag of Rice Project . In 2016 we started helping a young man named Ikechukwu from Nigeria. Summer of 2019 we were able to visit his family in Aba, Nigeria. While there we saw widespread poverty and lack of basic needs. We also met a young man named Isaac, smart and hard working but could not find employment. After talking a bit we found he had built a chicken coop and wanted to farm chickens. We asked him if he would raise chickens for us that would then be donated to feed children in local orphanages. The only food or supplies they get are what are donated, so they often go without any source of protein. We would like to invite you to help meet one of those basic needs, by providing Nigerian families with rice or chickens. This gift will feed a large family for a few months, or a single person a year. It also reminds them they are loved, and brings most of them to tears… as a full bag of rice is one of the most generous gifts they will ever receive. You can also read about other families we have been able to bless here. Chickens are only available to purchase as once they are big enough to butcher, so if you see they are out of stock he is in the process or growing another flock. That is why we started the Orphanage donations so we can still help feed the orphans even if chickens are not yet ready. These donations go to purchase food, diapers, wipes, clothes and medications.

The following story talks about our visitation to VICTIMS OF NEED SOCIAL OPHANAGEGE HOME, Babies supplies were donated, Thanks to  Melissa Rae and an anonymous donor for your Generous Donations.
As we stepped into the Victims of Need Social Orphanage home for the first time, accompanied by my course mate Sonia Longjohn, I was struck by the warmth and love that filled the air. The children’s bright eyes and wide smiles welcomed us with open arms, and the caregivers’ gentle hugs made us feel at home. We were greeted with joy and gratitude, and it was clear that our visit was a special treat for the little ones. Sonia had introduced me to this haven, and I was thankful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of these precious children.
Here is Sonia, my course mate who introduced me to the victims of social orphanage home, she’s full of love, though she’s an orphan too, she lost her dad and mom when she was still very young, she welcome people around her with an open mind, God fearing etc.
The orphanage was a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. Despite the challenges they faced, the children were full of joy and laughter. We spent time with them a little, learning about their dreams. It was a humbling experience, and I was grateful to be a part of it. Sonia had introduced me to this special place, and I was thankful for her kindness and compassion.
Together, we donated essential supplies to support the orphanage, including cartons of noodles, packets of Nasco, and bags of Pampers. We also brought big bottles of Dettol, custard, and baby soap, as well as pies of baby oil, powder, and wipes. The caregivers thanked us with much joy on their faces as we handed over rolls of small tissue, packets of cabin biscuits, tins of adult milk, and cartons of juice. It was a small act of kindness, but the impact was immense. As we left, the children’s laughter and the caregivers’ heartfelt thanks lingered in our hearts, reminding us of the power of love and generosity.
