College Church of the Nazarene in Nampa sent us a letter asking for help for the lower income kids in the area. We thought it would be good to share this with our readers, both locally and nationally:
I was wondering if you would be willing to help out our daycare through your website. It is an opportunity for your readers to give back with out having to write a check or dig into their pockets. They can just send us the labels from Campbell’s soups, Peppridge farms or other items on the attached list when they find these items at great stock up prices through AThriftyMom tips.
College Church of the Nazarene in Nampa started a learning center this last August geared towards helping low income families and the lower income neighborhood that we are located in. We are growing slowly but surely and have had the opportunity to help many low income families. We also have many wonderful families who are very supportive of our cause and growing this program. And because of our location we are able to serve many families who’s parents are going to school trying to make a better life for their family. We have some of the most amazing children and because we are able to keep cost low and work with state we are able to give many of our children a lot of the one on one attention they desire. In order to continue to keep our cost low we are starting to collect the labels for education. Through this program we would be able to order much of our arts and craft supplies and educational tools to better our program. I myself coupon and it has made a huge difference for my family. I thought that this would be a great way for couponers who stock up on the items we need to simply cut off the UPC label and help out our growing learning center. It would be a way to give back through couponing. (HERE) is a list of the eligible products. All you have to do is cut off the UPC part and send it to us, we will do the rest. We would be grateful for any help.
