Growing up on a farm we never really went on vacation. We always had cows to milk, morning and night. We would try to make day trips to the mountains or hills. In Idaho every year they have a “FREE Fishing Day”, we would plan a day trip around it. Buying fishing licenses for 6 kids was an expense my parents could not afford. But by planning ahead, and going on free fishing day we were able to have fun, and save money. We never did catch much, but the memories were great.
