Last week I picked up 15 boxes of Gelatin at Walgreens. They were on sale for .20 cents each. I just wanted to share with you one of my favorite ways to use Jello.
Pretzel Jello Salad
Start out with the Crust:
1 1/2 cups crushed pretzels
3 tablespoons sugar
1 cube melter butter
Mix together, and press into the bottom of a 9×13 pan
Bake at 400 degrees for 7-10 minutes
Set aside and let cool COMPLETELY
Cream Cheese layer
1 (8oz) package of Cream Cheese softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 (8oz) cool whip
Mix together in bowl, then spread in an even layer on top of COOLED crust
Put in refrigerator for 1 hour
Dissolve 2 small packages of jello in 2 cups hot water, stir till completely dissolved.
Then add 1 1/2 cups frozen raspberry’s, ( or any other berry)
It will start to set up pour over the top of the cream cheese layer.
Refrigerate until firm
Before serving top with cool whip
