Thanks to one of my readers Julie for passing this along to me,
A friend and I do our couponing together and have gotten to know the staff at our local Walgreens. Today they gave me a copy of their new policies to be aware. I thought I would pass them on to you so you could share them with your readers. Click here to view the policy. Yes this link works, Matt fixed it for me…It’s in a PDF format.

Thank you so much for the copy of the policy, though I’m not sure it’s going to keep managers from making up their own rules. I had the manager from the Ontario Walgreens tell me that I couldn’t buy 3 bags of Chex Mix in one transaction using 3 different Chex Mix coupons because they stated on the coupon “Do not Double or Triple” He said that means that you can only use one coupon per transaction. He said that if he let me use all 3 coupons for 3 different bags of Chex Mix in one transaction then the store would not be reimbursed for the coupons. I’ve never heard of this before. Anyone else have this problem?
Thank you for the copy of their policy.
It seems like this is a Walgreens against Couponers war. I noticed how often the policy used the words “Coupon Fraud”! This reinforces the cashiers’ and managers’ opinions that couponers are doing something illegal. I think that Walgreens cashiers will be terrified of losing their job and won’t accept a coupon without reading every fine print and interpreting it anyway they please so that they won’t have to accept it. If Walgreens doesn’t want the revenue from coupons, they shouldn’t accept them.
THANKS so much for sharing. The one thing I find interesting is there is no mention of using a manufacturer and Walgreen’s coupon together for the same item. I haven’t had any trouble lately but that is sometimes and issue. There is also no discussion of coupons over the value of the item. Good to note they are supposed to collect coupons as I know many people want to hang on to the Wags activity coupons for multiple use.
Wow, I suspect someone isn’t going to be happy about this. It’s so hard to get Walgreen’s coupon policy in writing. I’ve been trying for months.
Wish they added a limit on the things like the baby wipes this week. Saturday I traveled to EVERY Walgeens in Boise and found 1 box of baby wipes for this great deal with a 1 year old and another due in November I could use as many as I could get but then I went to Nampa to get some tomatoes from Elaine on here and thought maybe I’d make it even better by going to WalGreens by Karcher Mall and when I went in after 4 hours of searching the employee was unloading the Huggies Wipes and 2 women beat me there and each took a case of wipes leaving me 4 which I was going to only take 2 but after 4 hours to find 1 and watching these 2 ladies almost empty the new shipment my babies needed them bad and I wasn’t going to leave without feeling some accomplishments.
Thank you for sharing!
Rhonda (link worked fine for me at 10:19EST)

What are they doing differently?
New link isn’t working for me either.
This is what I get when I click on the link… What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!!
The link is asking me to login.
For some reason on my computer I was unable to pull up the Walgreen’s policy when clicking on the above link. I haven’t had many good experiences at any of the Walgreen’s so I usually stick to Rite Aid. I’ve been able to get fabulous deals at the one on Linden & Cleveland Blvd. in Caldwell and the employees are great.
link seems to be broken
