I am a stay at home mom with four wonderful kids. I have been married for over 9 years to my best friend. I am head over heals in love with him. He always supports my crazy "thrifty adventures". We have a lot of fun together.
I was raised on a small dairy farm. Where I learned very young, the value of hard work and how to be thrifty in all areas of life. Growing up our meals were made from scratch. Only on special occasion would we get name brand cereal, chips, or any other fancy treats. Now that I am a Mom with my own budget, the basic foods always comes first. I too make most of our meals from scratch and take pride in feeding my family a well balanced healthy diet.
I enjoy seeing how far I can make our budget stretch, and when I take the time to match sales with coupons I am able to get all those "fun & fancy" items that would other wise be out of my budget. Being thrifty has always been a way of life for me, but it has also become a real joy.
I lost my receipt….So I do not have my total down to the penny. But I do know before sales or coupon this would have been about $29.00……I got it all for $5.25 ( ish).

You can freeze sour cream, however-when you thaw it out it does not set up again. It is runny and grainy. It tastes ok but you can’t really use it as a topping.

I second the question about the sour cream. Does it freeze?
Vanessa I had a coupon from Christmas time that took $1.25 off 3….. it came on Jello packages, a few months ago
What coupon did you use for the 3 cream cheese? The only one I know of is $1 off 4. What did you end up paying for just these three products?
My grocery list for tonight has all the same things on it. There are some great deals this week.
So can you freeze sour cream? How do you used it all before it goes bad?
