Thanks to Nancy for passing this along,
At Winco today I found Tuna Helper priced at 98 cents. Many of the boxes have peelies that say $1.00 of any tuna fish with the purchase of a tuna helper. The Hy-top tuna is 48 cents. That makes one box of Tuna Helper and a can of tuna only 46 cents. And if you use the .75 of 3 boxes of hamburger/tuna helper, It makes it only 23 cents for both. I bought 6 boxes of tuna helper and 6 cans of tuna for $1.38 plus tax. The cashier wasn’t really excited about the hamburger/tuna helper coupon (internet printable) but after conferring with the manager they decided to take them. YMMV! Good luck!

At the store on Fairview they said they would only give the amount of the tuna. So I went back and got the $.98 Bumble Bee Albaquaore and she took off $.98. A manager had to come override and they weren’t very thrilled with it but they did it.
I just came home from doing this and just a warning that when I put the $1 coupon through for the tuna the cashier only took the $.48 off that the hy top tuna actually cost. Wished I would have known that and I would have purchased the bumble bee tuna ($.60) or taken the time to see how much the white tuna was. You might as well buy the tuna that is closest to a dollar to get the most out of your $1 coupon. Still a really great deal. Tuna Helper and a can of tuna for $.73 before tax.
The Meridian site was wonderful! She had to input 12 coupons plus my 4 for T.H. and then 5 for my smoothies…I said “sorry to hold you up”, the cashier replied “thanks for pulling the coupons & having them ready, it’s no biggy & a wonderful deal…” WOW thanks for not stressing me out
Im a bit confused. The math doesnt quite work for me. If the Tuna Helper is .98, and you get the tuna for free, how do the two together only cost .46 cents? When i used this coupon a while back, I was able to get the free tuna, but she only took the cost of the tuna off, not the whole $1. According to that cashier, they dont give you overage. Am i missing something? Cause with the .75/3 i would really love to be able to get tuna helper and tuna for less than a quarter!!
I just re-read my comment
The Meridian Winco “accepts” internet coupons – I can not make it through a comment without some kind of mess-up!
I havent had any trouble at the Meridian Winco, they just have to call a manager over if your coupons save you over $10 – but its quick, they except all my internet coupons. I have heard that the Winco in Eagle will not accept internet coupons, I haven’t tried them (or the one off of Fairview in Boise). I really enjoy shopping at the one in Meridian.
I have had an absurd amount of trouble trying to use coupons at Winco. Butch is the store manager at the Nampa location. If you have any trouble, please let him know. He’s trying to work on the issues with the cashiers and feedback will help us all.

I haven’t couponed in a while and I was just wondering what the policy was these days for printable coupons. I remember reading a post a while ago about Albertson’s only accepting certain printable coupons, and what about Winco?
