About Us

I am a stay at home mom with four wonderful kids. I have been married for over 9 years to my best friend. I am head over heals in love with him. He always supports my crazy "thrifty adventures". We have a lot of fun together.

I was raised on a small dairy farm. Where I learned very young, the value of hard work and how to be thrifty in all areas of life. Growing up our meals were made from scratch. Only on special occasion would we get name brand cereal, chips, or any other fancy treats. Now that I am a Mom with my own budget, the basic foods always comes first. I too make most of our meals from scratch and take pride in feeding my family a well balanced healthy diet.

I enjoy seeing how far I can make our budget stretch, and when I take the time to match sales with coupons I am able to get all those "fun & fancy" items that would other wise be out of my budget. Being thrifty has always been a way of life for me, but it has also become a real joy.

Just thought I’d pass on this deal info… I’m in OK, but our Wags (I’m assuming they all have the same ads each week) has the Gillette Fusion cartridges and if you buy that you get a Gillette Fusion shave gel free. I used that store sale to end up getting the cartridges, a fusion razor (coupon that if you buy cartridges you get razor free), the shave gel (used $1.00 off coupon and coupon that if you bought shave gel you get body wash free)and Gillette body wash all for the price of the cartridges. I was pretty excited about it; four items for the price of one.

  • Melissa not all areas get the same coupon….I do not think we got it in our area

  • Laura

Does anyone know Walgreens’ policy regarding if you buy something one week, and it goes on sale the next? I know some stores have a seven day grace period and will grant you a refund of the difference.

    Dear Renne Wall,

I have read your comment and I think i have the same problems here at Walgreens Bedford about using match up coupons. I am just concerning about that!!!

  • Melissa

I couldn’t find the John Frieda coupon in the smart shopper. Did anyone?

  • Angeous

Thanks for the deals! I have tried make some deals at Walgreens from my city Bedford (IN), but unfortunally here they told me dont accept match up coupons! :.(

  • Joanne

Do you know where to get the nabisco rebate form without getting it on ebay? Thanks for your help!

  • kambree

I went to my Walgreens in Pocatello to do the Buy 1 get one 50% off covergirl and tried using the coupon for B1G1 and they deducted the least expensive one, So in reality I was just getting a B1G1. Any ideas if that is the right coupon policy? Has anyone actually gone and gotten one 50% off and one free with that scenario?

  • Renee the best thing would be to Call the customer Service number on your receipt and let them know of your feelings…it will help them know which stores may need a little more coupon training. As for me my local Caldwell store had always been wonderful to us coupon shoppers

  • Renee Wall

Walgreens at Meridian and Overland Rd. is not liking letting you use the $4 coupon and still printing out the Register Rewards… I had to deal with this for 20 minutes yesterday with managers who did not seem very thrilled to be helping me, to get the $10 Register Reward. This Walgreens has actually been very hard to deal with lately so I have stopped shopping there much. The two male managers seem very peeved with “couponers”, although I have always been very nice, and don’t even bring up the mistakes (which there always seem to be) half the time. Any ideas on a more user friendly Walgreens in that area?

    Do it this way..

Buy 2 Nestle Crunch Bars regularly priced at $0.89 each = $1.78
Use the buy one get one FREE coupon from the 3/7 SS (will deduct $0.89)
Use the in ad coupon making each bar $0.49 (will deduct $0.80)

    Final cost $0.09 for Both!

not saying it’s healthy to eat that stuff just wanted you to get the best 4 UR money.
    -

Please I beg you… You list a lot of processed food… but regardless-if you care about your readers… why in God’s Name would you list Splenda as a deal?

    -
Have you not heard what’s happening to PPL out there?? My Grandpa just left us do to the shit in American f*ing foods.

I am only saying this b’cause I like ur MB.

Wags in Wisconsin have discounted their store brand diapers to $2.49 reg $9.99. One manager saw my full cart and said for me to get another cart. He then took me to the backroom where he had even more!Seems he has to do inventory next week and he would rather sell it than count it. What nice customer service. Oh, he also took my name and number down in case more came in this week.

  • Kari

On the Crest 3d White, the $ coupon states 440 ml or bigger. The 3D white is only 200-something ML. I tried this last week at Wallgreens and didn’t work.
