Family Reunion Ideas ~ Glow In The Dark Egg Hunt
Who says an egg hunt is just for kids, or just for Easter? Last year for our family reunion we had a glow in the dark egg hunt. It was so much fun. We used glow sticks and LED Finger Lamps inside the eggs. But the finger lamps worked so much better and were easier to fit inside the egg. To make this even more fun we ditched the candy and added some really awesome prizes like CASH, movie tickets, gift cards and other fun stuff. We did this with the teens and they had so much fun. To make it even more tricky we put them into teams and had them search for the eggs with their legs tied together. We used nylon string to tie their legs together, for the ultimate 3 legged race :). Hope you have as much fun as we did!
LED Finger Lamps you can buy them in a package up to 48 which tends to be the cheapest way to go. Keep track of shipping time, most ship right away but other have a 2-3 week shipping time. Which is not a big deal, unless you need them right away.
If you want to put something large inside like movie tickets, dollar bills the Large Plastic Eggs work great for that. But the standard small plastic eggs work just fine too. They will fit the finger light inside just fine and still have room for treats, coins, stickers, or what ever you choose to put inside.
