Lego Minifigure Balloons, Thrifty Lego Party Decorations

These lego minifigure balloons were a huge hit at my son’s birthday party!  Everyone loved them!  I colored the faces on, using the Lego Movie characters as my inspiration.  (This one in the photo above is supposed to be Wildstyle).  With a few simple supplies, you can make some minifigure balloons for your little one’s party too!

You will need

Yellow balloons (we got a package at the dollar store)

Sharpies

someone to blow up your balloons.

I am not very artistic, and was pleasantly surprised in how many of  my minifigure’s faces turned out.

I opened up a photo of the characters on my phone and set it beside me so I could see what they looked like.  My kids were able to tell me who each one was, which was impressive to me!

If you are doing them just as lego minifigures and not based on the movie,you could come up with faces of your own to draw on.  If you are going to tie them to something, you could also draw the faces on upside down.  Get creative and have fun!
