My kids wear school uniforms, the dress code says they must wear a solid color polo top, and a solid color bottom. Pretty basic rules, with lots of color choices. But my kids still wish they had a little more choice. So this year we decided to cut the boring buttons off and add new ones that still meet the dress code standards but let my girls add a little fun to their shirts.
