Pretzel Jello Salad
This is one of my families favorite recipes.I know it sounds a little strange but JUST TRUST ME, once you try it you will LOVE IT!
Start out with the Crust:
1 1/2 cups crushed pretzels
3 tablespoons sugar
1 cube melter butter
Mix together, and press into the bottom of a 9×13 pan
Bake at 400 degrees for 7-10 minutes
Set aside and let cool COMPLETELY
Cream Cheese layer
1 (8oz) package of Cream Cheese softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 (8oz) cool whip
Mix together in bowl, then spread in an even layer on top of COOLED crust
Put in refrigerator for 1 hour
Jello layer
Dissolve 2 small packages of jello in 2 cups hot water, stir till completely dissolved.
Then add 1 1/2 cups frozen raspberry’s, ( or any other berry)
It will start to set up pour over the top of the cream cheese layer.
Refrigerate until firm
Before serving top with cool whip
My family LOVES this! Hope you enjoy it too!
It sounds good without the jello too. Just put the berries on top!
