Catalina Chicken over rice
If you have been following my blog you know I have gotten a lot of FREE Kraft Salad dressing the last month. I am always looking for ways to turn my thrifty deals into meals for my family. My good friend Joanne brought me dinner the week of my birthday and she brought me this yummy chicken over rice, it reminds me of sweet and sour chicken. Here is the best part she made it with a bottle of Kraft Catalina salad dressing.
I asked if it would be ok to share with all my bloggy friends. She laughed at me, because she knows I am a little obsessed with my blog. This recipe is for a dutch oven, but you can also make it in your oven or even toss it in your crock pot. Thanks Joanne for this Yummy meal!
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. Catalina dressing
½ c. mustard
¼ c. chopped onion
1 lb. chicken (breast, thighs or drumsticks)
Cook at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until chicken is not pink.
