 SimpliSafe Review

This past August, we signed up with SimpliSafe and I installed our home security devices into our home! I have to tell you right off the bat, I am impressed. Not only was it easy to install, but it is so completely comprehensive that it has got to be one of the best home security systems on the market. Not only can you install your home security, but you also can even install smoke alarms, carbon monoxide sensors, motion sensors, glass breakage sensors, water sensors, freeze sensors and burglar alarms. All with the ability to monitor on your cell phone, no matter where you are.

With all of the worries of home security this is the best thing for you. Not only that, but if you think you don’t need to worry about the security aspect of it you can even use this to monitor your home or even your cabin for water leakage, flood, and even freeze. In case of flooding, calling a professional water damage company such as Prime Flood Damage Restoration is the best way to mitigate the potential damage a flood might do to your property.

dave ramseyAnd another awesome feature, which I truly love because I hate being tied into a contract, and that Dave Ramsey even approves of this is that they have NO CONTRACTS. So unlike every other monitoring company that all require contracts, with SimplySafe has no contacts. I love that for the financial aspects of it, as well does the pro Dave Ramsey!

To install each individual device like the windows and door monitors, it is quite easy. Simply pull the super strong tape paper off and apply the magnetic portion – or smallest part – on to the surface of your window frame or door frame. Then apply the larger device right next to magnetic part. They should rest next to each other because when the magnet is no longer in range of the larger unit then a signal is sent to the main monitor. Once you have them positioned, you can leave the base of each device taped to the door or window and drill the retaining screw through the base plate and permanently attach the monitors.

DSC_3775Continue attaching the monitors to all of the areas that may present an entry point. Windows, doors, garage doors, and every where that may be an entry point. If you get the other monitoring devices like smoke alarms or freeze sensors or all of the other monitors simply continue the same process to complete secure and monitor your home. Run through the set up process on your computer, and your smartphone. Complete the practice alarms both in your home and through the central off site monitoring service and you are set to completely monitor and keep you home safe!
