$2 DIY Valentine’s Day Garland

$2 DIY Valentine’s Day Garland

Hey all, it’s Katie! I was at the Dollar Tree the other day picking up Valentines for my kids and I saw these super cute felt hearts. I grabbed a roll of ribbon too and made a super simple, cute garland for the mantel. It only cost $2 to make!! No glue or sewing required.

Here are the supplies. Like I said up top found them at the Dollar store so they were a buck each, sweet!

To make the garland I strung the hearts on the ribbon through the already cut out holes on the sides. Because my ribbon was wider and stiff the hearts stayed in place and I didn’t have to hot glue them on.

If you choose a narrow ribbon or find your hearts sliding a little hot glue on the back of the heart will keep the ribbon in place.

I love how this cute garland brightens up the mantel for Valentine’s Day.
