Thanks to Terri for passing along this great info, Here is a recipe that printed out of the catalina printer with my Post Selects cereal purchase. It will be yummy with the banana stuff but might also work with the other kinds. Sounds simple! I thought you might want to share it.
BANANA SNACK BARS
- 1 – 15.5 oz package Post Selects Banana Nut Crunch cereal
- ½ cup flour
- 2/3 cup honey
- 6 tablespoons butter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 13×9 baking pan with foil, with the ends extending over the sides of the pan; lightly grease the foil. In a large bowl, mix cereal and flour and set aside. Mix honey and butter in a small saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly. Pour over cereal mixture and mix until evenly coated. Press mixture firmly into prepared pan. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool. Remove from pan using foil handles. Cut into bars; makes 32 small bars. Store in tightly covered container at room temperature.
NOTE: Light corn syrup can be substituted for the honey.
This is a post I did a few months back on how I make home made Granola Bars for my Family
