Albertsons Double Ideas

In todays Sunday paper you should find a single page Albertsons ad, and on the bottom of it is 3 twice the value coupons. You can use 3 twice the value (double coupons) per family per shopping trip.  They will double any coupon up to the value of $1.00 making that coupon twice its value.  SO if you use a .75 cent coupon it will double up to $1.50 or if you use a $1.00 coupon it will double to $2.00.  They will not double a coupon for $1.01 or more. They will not double a coupon that says do not double, or not subject to doubling.

Padrino’s Tortilla Chips at 2.99 per bag, $1.00 coupon in 1/10 SS. Double, get them for 99 cents and there’s a coupon on the bags at my Alb’s for 55 cents off CA cheese. Thought that was pretty good for chips.
Also, Febreeze Luminary Starter kits were on clearance for $3.99. If you have the $3.00 coupon from the Home Made Simple mailer, you have a pretty thrifty deal! I’ve been eyeing these for a long time, so was very pleased! ( Thanks Pat)

I was excited to see Carnation Instant Breakfast Essentials regular price $6.29 were on sale for $2.99. I used a coupon for $1.00 off (either 1/3 or 1/10 coupon) and then my doubler made them 99cents! I also bought Smart Balance peanut butter regular price $3.99 on sale for $2.99 used a $1.00 off coupon and a doubler..99cents for peanut butter! Yahoo, I’m proud to be a couponer!

Just wanted to let you all know that Albertsons also has some great deals on toothpaste right now too. I go to the meridian rd and cherry lane one and they had there crest toothpaste on clearance. Regularly 3.99, on clearance for 1.99. Used the 75/1 crest toothpast 4.0 oz or larger form the p@g (exp 02.28.10) with a doubler making them .49 each!

I also go to the Cherry Lane/Meridian Rd. Albertsons, and they have further reduced their toothpaste down to $1.64, making it $.14 with a doubler. Also at their store the Campbell’s Soup at Hand, tomato soup flavor only, are reduced to $1.00. Using the $.50 off one coupon plus a doubler makes them free. I also had a Nabisco coupon for $1/2. The animal cracker boxes are $1.00, so buy two, combine with a doubler, and they are also free.
