Are any of you like me…. spring is here but your body is a still white at winter?  I do not really tan much, my skin tends to just burn.  BUT I do like to have a little color.  I have found self tanners are a great way to go.  You can get a golden glow while staying in the shade.   My friend Kerry asked me if I would like to try Arbonne’s Made In The Shade Self Tanner.  You can get a tan quick as 2-3 hours!

Now let me say that self tanners take a little bit of practice.  You first need to exfoliate your skin, any patch that is dry or has extra dry skin will take the self tanner much more and almost turn orange.  SO it is very important to get rid of any dry patches and I have found it works best to put a light layer of lotion on first.  Then spray on the self tanner.  Arbonne’s Made In The Shade Self Tanner comes in a nice pump that allows for a even thin coating, so all you have to do is lightly rub it in. I then take a towel and rub a little off my feet, ankles and knees since these are the sections that soak it in more and tend to turn darker than the other areas.

I put Arbonne’s Made In The Shade Self Tanner on before I went to bed, the next morning I woke up with a golden tan (on one leg…lol I was trying to show you the difference.  Wasn’t thinking ahead and forgot I had to wear a dress that day oops) in less than 9 hours  I had turned from winter white to a sun kissed tan (with no sun damage).  I can apply more each day till I get to the color I want.  It lasts several days so no need to apply each day, once or twice a week will do the trick.  You will find it will even out the color a bit after you bath too. So if you put it on and are not happy with the coverage don’t worry, it is like most things and takes a little practice getting it to fit your personal preference.

Only yesterday, my mother-in-law and I discussed using self-tanners, and I told her I didn’t like all the chemicals in them… but I also don’t like having bright white legs!   6. I would love to try these products. My dad had melanoma and squamous cell carcinoma. I’m trying to prevent it from happening to me. Skin care products are a big priority in our home. Especially, since we have 2 red headed sons with extremely fair, sensitive skin.

  52. I love Arbonne. I have the body primer and foot cream. I also like tans and to tan without sweating would be a bonus. I haven’t used a self tanner since highschool.
