. In 2016 we started helping a young man named Ikechukwu from Nigeria. Summer of 2019 we were able to visit his family in Aba, Nigeria. While there we saw widespread poverty and lack of basic needs. We would like to invite you to help meet one of those basic needs, by providing
Nigerian families with rice. This gift will feed a large family for a few months, or a single person a year. It also reminds them they are loved, and brings most of them to tears… as a full bag of rice is one of the most generous gifts they will ever receive. The Following story is about the Ndak family, their bag of rice was donated thanks to Janice Martin, Cheryl Yoast and Sonya Miller this is the 303rd bag of rice our program has been able to give away thanks to generous donations.

Meet Mrs. Grace Monday Ndak, a 63 year old widow whose husband died over a decade ago. According to her, the death of her husband brought so much sorrow into the family as she is left all alone to cater for the six children he left behind. This ugly development has stressed the family purse and impose hardship on the family. She is a farmer, where she cultivates different kinds of crops and sells same for survival. But as she gets older and weaker, the farm outputs are dropping drastically.

Mrs Grace Monday Ndak lives in one room mud house with her children struggling to survive. They cook outside a small hut that serves as a kitchen and they use leaves and sometimes firewood, to make fire in order to cook. Mrs Grace Monday Ndak has no specific source of livelihood as she engage in so many menial farm jobs for survival.
