. In 2016 we started helping a young man named Ikechukwu from Nigeria. Summer of 2019 we were able to visit his family in Aba, Nigeria. While there we saw widespread poverty and lack of basic needs. We would like to invite you to help meet one of those basic needs, by providing
Nigerian families with rice. This gift will feed a large family for a few months, or a single person a year. It also reminds them they are loved, and brings most of them to tears… as a full bag of rice is one of the most generous gifts they will ever receive. You can also read about other families we have been able to bless here.

The Following story is about the Umakiso family, their bag of rice was donated thanks to Tonda Vance this is the 319th bag of rice our program has been able to give away thanks to generous donations.

The tour continued, and with help of one of the beneficiaries, who helped to take us around, we met the family of Umakiso Willie Udoh. He was not around at the time we visited. His wife Endurance, who we presume to be around her late 40s was around to receive us. Carrying her two year old baby, she said it was a pleasant surprise seeing total strangers seeking for families to help.

She lives in a two bedroom mudhouse and from the look of things, there are no plumbing and means of personal conveniences at sight. She cooks with the popular tripod metal stand that utilizes kindling which they consider quite reachable and always available.

The apparently excited woman didn’t hide her joy as she sang praises to God for providing food that could last the remaining part of the year for them at no cost at all. We were so happy to meet Godsgift and Abas, they were brushing their teeth when we came to visit them and we had to wait for them to finish before we took pictures of their wonderful family. They prayed for God’s blessings upon the donors.
