Blessing others with coupons

img_0598In yesterdays  Smart Source coupon insert they had a lot of pet food coupons.  One of them is for a Free package of Purina Kitten Chow.  It is only 16 oz so it is now huge but it is FREE, so I think it is a pretty Thrifty deal.  I do not have a cat, so I do not really need this coupon.  I could just toss it in the trash and go on about my day.  But I like to take this as an opportunity to help others.  With the economy the way it is, pet shelters are being filled to their limit with animals.  Many of them dropped off by loving owners that just can’t afford to feed them.  Being that I have 10 of these coupons I will be able to pick up quite a few to donate.  My donation may be small, but if all of us do it we can make a big impact.  SO before you toss them, think about helping your community pet shelter.
