Butterscotch Pecan Baked French Toast
My family loves this recipe, and I love how simple it is to make. Best part is you can make it up the night before if needed and then just pop it into the oven to bake in the morning. This recipe is not over the top sweet but has a great butterscotch flavor and a great way to start any day.
Recipe yields 8 mini loaves or one 9x 13 casserole dish
- 8 cup cubed bread
- 2/3 cup white sugar
- 7 eggs whipped
- 1 stick melted butter
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk
- 1 box (3.2oz) Jello Cook and Serve Butterscotch Pudding
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Mix together the melted butter, sugar, pudding mix, and milk stir till well blended. You can then add in the whipped eggs, cubed bread and nuts. Stir till well coated, let set for 10-15 mins to give the bread time to soak up the liquid. Or you can let it set overnight in the refrigerator. Put into a mini loaf pan, casserole dish or cupcake tin (make sure you coat with non stick spray). Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 mins. EnjoyIf you like this recipe you might also like
