Camping Party Centerpieces, Great For a Camping Party
We just had our blue and gold banquet and it was a blast! We had a camping theme this year. If you don’t know what a blue and gold banquet is, it is a party to celebrate the birthday of boy scouts of America. In our cub scout troops we get to have a party. Each year we do a fun, different theme and this year we thought it would camping would be great!
On each table we did a campfire centerpiece.
To make these yourselves you will need:
Red, yellow and orange tissue paper
Empty toilet paper rolls
Brown sharpie
Glue
Scissors
Paper for the center of the table
I collected empty toilet paper rolls for a while. You will need 4 to 5 for each table. I then took a brown sharpie and drew bark type lines on each roll. When you are decorating the table you will glue these to the paper on your table to keep them from moving. You could just glue them together, but they tend to not stay very well.
I then opened 1 package of each color of tissue paper and opened them up. I cut it into quarters. I then placed one piece of each color together and wrinkled them a little bit. Once they were layered I rolled the ends so that they were all bunched together. I glued them to the tablecloth between the 5 toilet paper rolls. I used hot glue for this part.
That is it! You are done! Super simple and adorable centerpieces for your camping theme party!
